On February 27, 2018, Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle, journalist Alex Kotlowitz, and dozens of interested volunteers, donors, and prospective supporters came together to participate in a session to learn more about Reading Between the Lines® and its unique method to build the skills and self-confidence people need to reenter society and the workforce.
